Ladders are tied into walkways and platforms so operatives step onto a protected route rather than an open roof.

We specify hooped ladders or MSA Latchways LadderLatch fall-arrest rail depending on climb height and how often the ladder is used. Ladders are tied into walkways and platforms so operatives step onto a protected route rather than an open roof. Designs follow BS 4211 and BS EN ISO 14122.

Where access is only needed for a construction phase, towers may be the better temporary option. Permanent ladders should be included on the inspection cycle with the rest of the fall protection on the building.
